Amy and Matt were married this past Sunday at the Rio Lindo Adventist Church in Healdsburg. The beautiful ceremony was followed by a reception just outside on the church lawn.

Maybe one day groom tossing will be an Olympic sport.

Athena and Johnnemann were married this past weekend at the historic Cliff House. While the day started out as a typical foggy and windy summer day in San Francisco, the fog cleared and wind dropped down to a breeze just in time for the outdoor wedding. Hence the quote “The coldest winter I ever spent was summer in San Francisco” which was supposedly said by Mark Twain.

Since it was an Ocean themed wedding , the wedding cake was of course a sand castle.

My one and only Olympic experience came in 1984 at the Summer Olympic games in Los Angeles, California. This photo taken from my seat shows Carl Lewis winning his 4th gold medal of the games. Carl’s fourth gold medal came in the 4 x 100 meter relay. The relay team of Sam Grady, Ron Brown, Calvin Smith, and anchor Carl Lewis set a world record of 37.83 that day.

Boxing promoter Don King was a the track venue that day.

Long before there was an Olympic Dream Team, Michael Jordon played for the Chicago Bulls. This photo shows Michael playing against the Golden State Warriors at the Oakland Arena on November 29th, 1986. Michael scored 40 points, played 42 minutes, shot 18 of 19 from the free throw line, and 11 of 30 from the field that night in a losing effort as the Warriors won 113 to 106.

Yesterday I visited the Cliff House and surrounding areas scouting out locations for the wedding I’m photographing there this Saturday. Beautiful views every way you look.

It was time to take a break. My wife and I visited my parents in Plumas Pines, and then headed over to Reno, NV for a few days. Here is a self portrait of me during an early morning ride.

Candace and J. Paul were married this past Saturday at the Sacred Heart Parish in Sacramento, CA. The reception took place at the  Vizcaya Pavilion next to the Vizcaya Mansion in Sacramento.

Kim and Michael were wed this past Saturday at the 4 star Lafayette Park Hotel.

Jim and Huong were married this past Saturday at the St. Francis of Assisi church in San Jose. Their reception took place at Maggiano’s Little Italy on Santana Row in San Jose. The bride and groom stroll Santana Row before the reception.

Molleen and Marc were married this past Friday at the Catholic Parish of Christ the Light church in Oakland.  The reception followed at the Dunsmuir Historic Estate. Everybody got together for a group photo.

Brenda and David were married this past Saturday at the St. Mary’s church in Walnut Creek, California. Their reception was held at the Crowne Plaze hotel in Concord.
