It was last September before the regular season had even started and yet there was a change about things at the San Francisco 49er practice facility in Santa Clara, California for team picture day. While many felt the 49ers would now be heading in the right direction after the January 2011 hiring of Jim Harbaugh. One would be hard pressed to find  many who thought the 49ers would end the 2011 NFL regular season with a 13-3 record and the 2nd seed in the NFL playoffs. Even fewer would have thought the 49ers would host the NFC championship game and suffer a heart breaking loss that ended the season one game short of the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis Indiana.

While the actual team picture is taken in 1/200 of a second, there is a lot of preparation that goes on before hand to make it all run smoothly and quickly. This time lapse movie shows the process involved with the San Francisco 49ers 2011 team picture.
