April Rain brings unusual hail storm today

It doesn’t normally rain in late April in the San Francisco Bay Area, even more unlikely is the hail that the storm brought. This is being caused by The El Niño weather pattern is bringing the unusual late season storms. The top image shows the rain and and a little hail photographed at 1/2000 of second at f2.8. The bottom photo is mostly hail shot at 1/100 of a second at f 14.0. The weather is clearing up tomorrow, and will be in a warming trend on Friday for my San Francisco wedding.

That is remarkable…..what a skill,I love this abstract nature of the image.

Great shots, what a cool idea. I never would have thought to take these shots.

These photographs are amazing! Really well captured!

Both these are great shots, the second one is very cool though, never seen hail captured in that way.
