This Sunday the Atlanta Falcons will host the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game to decide who will represent the conference in Superbowl XLVII in New Orleans on February 3, 2013.

The Falcons will have do a better job of  stopping San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick than the Green Packers did in the Divisional playoff game. In that January 12th game at Candlestick Park, Kaepernick rushed for a playoff record 181 yards for two touchdowns, and passed for 263 yards with two touchdowns.

The San Francisco 49ers overcame a 17 point 1st half deficit to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 28 to 24  to earn a trip to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans Louisiana on February 3, 2013. The game will be starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s only 10th career start in the NFL.
