The results of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) 3th Quarter contest were recently announced and my image of the Bride and several of her bridesmaids jumping into a swimming pool placed 14th in the reception category.
It turns out that wedding dress isn’t really meant for swimming

Congrats! That is a great shot. I bet it was difficult for the bride to get back out of the water…those dresses get really heavy when they are wet. I love receptions that are this festive.
