The bride and groom came all the way from Limerick, Ireland to get married in a San Francisco City wedding ceremony.
With most weddings you spend and hour or so with the couple before the wedding showing your work and going over what’s included with your packages. Other weddings you show up at the wedding venue and meet the out of town couple for the first time just minutes before you start their wedding day coverage. This was the case with this couple as they had traveled across the Atlantic Ocean and across North America to visit San Francisco and get married in City Hall.
Black Wedding Dress
To be honest this was the first wedding I’ve photographed where the bride was wearing a black wedding dress. But it seemed to fit perfectly for a San Francisco City hall wedding that took place in the Rotunda at the top of the second floor staircase.
After taking pictures inside the amazing San Francisco city hall the couple moved on to the Palace of Fine Arts to have their images captured at another iconic San Francisco spot. While there can be hundreds of tourists at this location during the summer months, a creative professional photographer can capture the location without dozens of visitors in the photo.
The last photo location of the day would be a quick drive over to Crissy Field beach to use Golden Gate Bridge and views of the Bay and a backdrop for the wedding couple from Ireland.
