The weather was a little iffy for Kristin and Ramesh’s engagement session in downtown Fremont and at the Fremont main library, but the rain mostly held off except for a few photos. The use of some back lighting actually highlighted the rain for some more visually pleasing photos.

The effect you are seeing is the off camera flash lighting the falling raindrops.

Did you use an action on the photo with the couple in front of the green doors where he is lifting her up? I like the contrast and look of it.
