My one and only Olympic experience came in 1984 at the Summer Olympic games in Los Angeles, California. This photo taken from my seat shows Carl Lewis winning his 4th gold medal of the games. Carl’s fourth gold medal came in the 4 x 100 meter relay. The relay team of Sam Grady, Ron Brown, Calvin Smith, and anchor Carl Lewis set a world record of 37.83 that day.

Long before there was an Olympic Dream Team, Michael Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls. This photo shows Michael playing against the Golden State Warriors at the Oakland Arena on November 29th, 1986. Michael scored 40 points, played 42 minutes, shot 18 of 19 from the free throw line, and 11 of 30 from the field that night in a losing effort as the Warriors won 113 to 106.
