The 49ers were looking for a new head coach after they parted ways with <a title=\"Jim Harbaugh signed as new San Francisco 49er head coach - 2011\" href=\"https:\/\/ksimonian.com\/Blog\/2011\/01\/09\/stanford-coach-jim-harbaugh-signs-on-as-the-new-head-coach-of-the-san-francisco-49ers\/\">Jim Harbaugh<\/a> who had coached the team for the last four seasons. The team will make a formal announcement of the hiring tomorrow at Levi&#8217;s Stadium in Santa Clara.\u00a0The 46-year-old Jim Tomsula will become the\u00a019th\u00a0head coach in San Francisco 49ers history after spending the last 8 seasons as the Defensive Line coach.
