The train ride from Florence to Pisa takes about an hour. A cab ride to the Piazza dei Miracoli where the Leaning Tower is located, runs about 10 Euros. You could walk there, but that would be a mistake. Save your energy to climb the Leaning Tower.<\/p>\n

After arriving at the Pisa Centrale station, the Leaning Tower is just a cab ride away, or a 30 minute walk in the somewhat warm summer weather.<\/p>\n

Ticket to climb the stairs of the Leaning Tower of Pisa priced at 20 Euros.<\/p>\n

\"Entrance<\/p>\n

Once you have shown them your ticket, this is where you enter. No backpacks are allowed as the stairs are not very wide. There is a place to store your backpack where you purchase the ticket.<\/p>\n

\"Inside<\/p>\n

It may or may not come as a surprise that the inside of the Leaning Tower of Pisa is hollow.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

The well worn White Marble steps that lead to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

There is plenty of space to take a break on the 6th floor before making the final ascent to 7th floor top.<\/p>\n

\"Leaning<\/p>\n

The stairs between the 6th and 7th floor were quite narrow and passing people going in the opposite direction was a tight squeeze.<\/p>\n

\"Looking<\/p>\n

The view looking East from the top floor includes the Church of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria ( Santa Caterina )<\/p>\n

\"White<\/p>\n

The White Marble blocks at the seventh floor top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.<\/p>\n

\"Visitors<\/p>\n

Many of the visitors looking up the 7th floor of the Leaning Tower of Pisa seem to be wondering how the old guy with a camera made it up the 251 stairs.<\/p>\n

\"After<\/p>\n

Yes, it does cost one Euro to use the restroom, and you can only pay by credit card. But, a ticket to one of the buildings may get you admission without the one Euro fee.<\/p>\n
