I believe the Pulgas Water Temple is the only place where you can get married that celebrates the engineering marvel that transports water from Hetch Hetchy 160 miles across California to the Bay Area.

A sunny day greets the guests for the Pulgas Water Temple wedding ceremony.

The site features a water pool and temple designed by William Merchant, a San Francisco architect trained by Bernard Maybeck in the style of the Greeks and Romans whose engineering design formed the basis of the water transportation system.

The venue can be a little warm for a summer wedding as there is no shade at all for the location used for the wedding ceremonies.

The Pulgas Water Temple is located in Redwood City, California. Phone (650) 872-5900 Website: www.sfwater.org/
