Sometimes a nice photo is captured with a little extra bit of equipment. When on vacation taking a full sized tripod is out of the question. Then how does one capture a 15 second exposure with rock steady sharpness.

In this case I used the Manfrotto 209 table top tripod with a Manfrotto 482 Micro Ball Tripod Head that will support up to four pounds of camera. This easy to carry mini tripod is only 8″ long with the tripod head attached and is reasonably at $53. ( $25 for the tripod and $28 for the head )

It’s nice to have the right equipment to do the job, but many times with photography it’s about being in the right place at the right time. For this photo, the right time was 5:45 in the morning just outside the hotel.
