As a tourist, if you are going to visit Almería Spain, most likely you will visit the Alcazaba of Almería. But it turns out there is another famous building that you might not even now exists. That would be the Control of the Port Authority which resides on a list of the World’s Highest Seaport Towers.

Beside being one of the tallest sea port towers in the world, it makes for an interesting photo as I captured one of the Westerdam’s passengers taking a photo of the tower.

If you wake up early enough, one can capture the sunrise while pulling into port.
