It was a home coming for Carolina Panthers rookie running back Christian McCraffrey who played his college ball at Stanford Stadium which according to Google is a 19 mile drive from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. The Panthers beat the 49ers 23 to 3 in the 2017 season opener while McCraffery ran for 47 yards, had 38 receiving yards, and 7 yards in punt returns.
