What happens in your backyard at night. Well if you look up at the North Star, you can see the stars circling around it. To capture the effect on a camera, you need to use a tripod and multiple 30 second exposures to see it happening.
This image shows about 50 minutes of 30 second exposures ‘stacked” on top of each other to create the star trails.
