That’s a lot of technical detail for a picture of a flower blooming.  The image was made with the Sigma 85mm 1.4 lens that I recently purchased along with a Canon EF 12 extension tube so the I could focus closer. The image was made on a Canon 5D mk3 at ISO 50, 1/3200 of second, f1.4 with a EF-12 extension tube on the camera.

Here’s another photo made with the Sigma 85 mm lens at f1.4. Nice back lighting and a very shallow depth of field can even make a weed look nice. This image has been sized to fit the Facebook time line cover photo.
