All the local Lily of the Niles ( Agapanthus ) are blooming and this hummingbird is out and about getting food from them. Even though this photo was made at 1/640 of a second, the hummingbird’s wings are blurred as a medium-sized hummingbird wings beat about 20–25 beats per second.
